Chocolate Stout Cupcakes from the cookbook 'Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World'

For Easter, I made my first recipe from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World... Chocolate Stout Cupcakes! I skipped the crumble topping and used the book's vegan buttercream frosting instead, adorning it with sprinkles and a chocolate graham cracker cookie... yum! They were a hit with my fam... and me. :-)

The cupcakes look so good. I wish I could make my icing looks so great on cupcakes. I just pile it on. Yours are beautiful!

Thanks for the wonderful comments, everyone! For the icing, I just spooned it into a zip baggie, cut the tip of one of the ends off--instant icing bag! Great for piping in a pinch! :)

Wow, who wouldn't they be a hit with?!

How pronounced was the stout flavor?

You should try the crumble topping next time. I love these cupcakes because they're not too sweet and because there isn't any frosting, I don't always feel bad about eating two of them... ;) Plus I really like the texture. They're so moist!

And someone was just telling me how they think all vegan desserts are terrible! Please! Ridiculous!
